Rocky Creators Celebrate Their Musical's Towering Broadway Billboard

There’s a brand new billboard greeting Times Square commuters with a gigantic black-and-white image of enduring lovers Rocky Balboa and Adrian Pennino. Yes, Rocky is headed to Broadway in a new musical boasting a blue-chip creative team, who gathered across the street from the Winter Garden Theatre on October 29 for a happy Hot Shot. Previews begin on February 11, 2014, but for now, share the joy with choreographer Kelly Devine, composer Stephen Flaherty, co-book writer Thomas Meehan, lyricist Lynn Ahrens and director Alex Timbers.
